Ebook Writers/Publishers: Check Out This Handy Software

One of the hardest parts of getting your own ebooks into the catalogs of outlets such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and even Smashwords, is trying to get the format right. The process is time-consuming, hard, and often frustrating. And the product often comes out looking amateurish, which does not help sales.

I accidentally stumbled across an ebook creator called Ultimate Ebook Creator, and downloaded a trial copy. About an hour later, I bought the full version of the software. It’s that good. And at less than $40, it’s one of the best investments you’ll make in your ebook publishing career.

Currently, Ultimate Ebook Creator produces books in several formats, including mobi and ePub. It is in a constant state of upgrade.  For example, you can now use it to upload to Smashwords, which has a reputation for being an enormously complicated project.  UEC  comes complete with a set of instructional videos on the website, and a downloadable guide you can reference offline.

Ultimate Ebook Creator is a work in progress. I’ve only had the program a short time and I’ve already downloaded two free updates. Each one has enhanced the program and expanded my publishing capabilities.

I’m lucky I found this program, and if you try it, I’m sure you’ll agree with me. (Disclaimer: I am not an affiliate, just a fan.)

If you’d like to find out more or download a fully functional trial copy of Ultimate Ebook Creator, go here. And be prepared to spend a lot of time on the site. He’s got a lot of great information there.

Who Are We?

We’re a brand new company started in March of 2012 with the intent of publishing books, ebooks, films and other media products. There are three of us, and our position titles seem to change depending on what project we’re working on at the moment. Our motto is: "We take everything seriously except ourselves."

As of today, we have published a total of three ebooks. The first, titled "101 Questions Christians Hope You Never Ask" is by a new author named D. C. Cullen. She managed to find a few surprising questions, but she gives you references so you can look up the passages and arrive at your own answers to the questions. It’s currently only available at Amazon.com, but we’ll be expanding its availability in the next few weeks. If you’re interested in taking a look, visit here

Our second ebook, called "No Strings Attached - Vol 1" is a book of jewelry designs which don’t require thread, string, needles, or knots. It provides a good way to expand your jewelry-making skills. Again, it is currently only available for Amazon’s Kindle, but we’ll be expanding to other ebook stores in the near future. You can find it here

Our third book is a collection of knit and crochet designs called "Knit and Crochet Patterns for You - Vol 1. Projects include an afghan, colorful kitchen accessories, scarves, and even gloves. Most designs can be made by inexperienced knitters and crocheters, and were created to be inexpensive to make. If you’d like to look it over, visit here for Kindle, and here for Barnes and Noble’s Nook.

At the moment, we’re working on the next volumes in both series, a book on some remarkable women in history, and the screenplay for our first documentary film. We’re also working with a new author on an overview of World War II. The author says his audience will be primarily high schoolers and college students, but from what I’ve seen so far, it will be a wonderful introduction for anyone interested in that war
.
We have many more irons in the fire, but I don’t want to bore you too much right out of the box. I’m looking forward to adding articles about books, authors, authoring resources, and much more.
